She recounted how she had been working and waiting for this moment, emphasizing the hard work and dedication it took to reach this point. “I came here last time, and I didn’t make it, but this time around, I’ve made it. It makes me feel great and amazing,” she said.

The Secret to Success

When asked about what contributed to her success, Banda highlighted the importance of commitment and focus. “I think the secret is just training hard and paying much attention to whatever you’re doing,” she shared.

She also had words of inspiration for aspiring footballers:“Never look down on yourselves. Keep on working hard, be determined, and stay disciplined. Hard work always pays.”

Preparing for Greater Challenges

Looking ahead, Banda acknowledged the increasingly competitive nature of women’s football on the continent. “Everyone else now is so competitive,” she remarked, urging her teammates and fellow players to stay prepared and ready to fight for success.
