In a recent interview, Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle expressed admiration for her team's courage and fighting spirit, despite their exit from the Olympic Games qualifiers. Hauptle praised the team's performance and resilience in the face of a challenging match against Zambia.

Reflecting on the game, Hauptle stated, "My team was brave, playing football, fighting. I can't blame them at all." Despite losing the first leg 1-0 in Accra and drawing 3-3 in the reverse fixture in Ndola, Hauptle acknowledged the team's efforts, expressing disappointment but giving credit to Zambia.

The Black Queens fell short with a 4-3 aggregate score, and while Hauptle acknowledged the disappointment, she is already looking ahead to the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. She remains confident in her team's abilities and is determined to build on the progress made.

Hauptle's positive attitude and pride in the team's performance suggest a promising future for women's football in Ghana.
