Chipolopolo Shape Up for Bafana Bafana Challenge

With their ticket for the semifinal secured the Chipolopolo did not waste time to prepare for Friday’s crunch semifinal tie against South Africa.

While Mauritius had an opportunity to beat Zambia to the remaining semifinal spot by winning with a 4-0 result over Mozambique, the Islanders were on the end of a 1-0 loss this afternoon.

Coach Moses Sichone and his technical bench did not wait for the outcome of that tussle and dig into preparations at the Escombe Football Club.

Chipolopolo head coach Avram Grant who has taken a backseat for this tournament was on the wings of the session at Escombe which could have provided a spark in the boys.

Zambia faces South Africa in the semi-finals on Friday with kick-off billed for 18:00hrs.
