Copper Queens Touchdown in Germany for International Camp

Zambia has arrived in Frankfurt, Germany where they will set camp in the European country ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand from July 20.
The Emirates Airline carrying Zambia touched down at Frankfurt International Airport from Dubai International Airport at 1h12pm.
The team left the country on Tuesday evening and connected to Frankfurt via Dubai. They then took a 2h31m drive from Frankfurt to Furth and are accommodated at Mercure Hotel.
While in Germany, the 35-member provisional squad will carry out extensive preparations and will have friendlies with Republic of Ireland (22 June), Switzerland (30 June) and Germany on July 7.
The final team to represent Zambia at the ninth edition of women’s biggest sports extravaganza will be named after the Germany friendly.
