FAZ Technical Director, Lyson Zulu, shared this exciting news during the trophy presentation ceremony. Zulu revealed that approximately half of the selected players would soon be invited for trials with the Zambia National Soccer Team's Under-17 and Under-20 squads. The remaining players will have opportunities to showcase their skills to clubs such as ZANACO, whom Zulu has already notified about the talent displayed during the tournament.

"When I came here to officiate at the Anti-Junkie Football Tournament, I expected to see casual, social football from boys in the compounds. Instead, I witnessed incredible talent. I am proud to say that some of you will soon be in camp with the Under-17 team," Zulu said, expressing his pride in the boys' performance.

The event proved to be a beacon of hope for aspiring footballers, offering them a platform to showcase their skills and aim for professional opportunities. This initiative underscores FAZ’s commitment to nurturing grassroots talent and providing avenues for young players to realize their potential.
