Nkana Football Club’s legendary striker, Ronald "Sate Sate" Kampamba, is making a dramatic return to the pitch just six months after announcing his retirement. Affectionately known as "The Landlord," Kampamba has been a fan favorite for years, and his decision to lace up his boots once again has brought renewed excitement to the Nkana faithful.
Under the guidance of new head coach Mwenya Chipepo, Kampamba has embarked on a special training program designed to help him regain his fitness and match readiness.
Chipepo’s Plan for Sate Sate
Coach Mwenya Chipepo is cautiously optimistic about Kampamba’s comeback, emphasizing that the focus right now is on his physical condition:
"I do not want to talk about Kampamba at the moment; we are working on his fitness," said Chipepo.
However, the coach didn’t hold back in praising the striker’s abilities:
"Kampamba is a very intelligent striker, and maybe I can get something from him."
Kampamba’s Perspective
Kampamba himself seems determined to make an impact, expressing confidence in his ability to contribute to the team:
"I started training recently with the team, and I feel I can contribute something to the team under Chipepo," said the former Golden Boot winner.
