Legendary Christopher Katongo zeros in on the painful Copper Queens World Cup exit

When you are playing big teams for the very first time in a tournament, often times psychologically you are defeated, but it's the desire to win and create a mark that pushes you.

Some few things that must be worked on👇

1. The System wasn't clear with the players or maybe it wasn't there at all. A system really is a critical part of any game when facing tough opponents.

2. The Game Plan. There wasn't a clear game plan that the players needed to follow or there wasn't one at all. Spain was very calm, very composed. They played like it was their usual training day. They started the balls on the ground. For us each time the keeper had the ball, she hit it upfront which was a huge mistake that was repeated time and again. Such games, you play their game, tick taka.

3. Our Striking force was all left for BB11, she started moving up and about and even making tuckles, defending and our pass accuracy was poor. The force upfront was not there at all.

4. Then that red card we got in the Japan game, and the injuries we obtained today also affected the teams spirit, meaning our options on the changes got limited on who to come on and be the game changer.

What am saying is, we have atleast made history for qualifying and playing at the tournament. We also now have played two big favorite winners of the cup giving us more room to learn how we approach the game the next time we have the opportunity at the TOURNAMENT.

Nonetheless, Copper Queens am very proud of you and it's time to reset and rebuild ❤️🇿🇲💪

Let's Link Up when you are back, we talk strategy more❤️🇿🇲💪

We love you guys big time.
