Copper Queens' goalkeeper Hazel Nali has returned home to Zambia after a successful left knee tendon reconstruction at St. George's Hospital in New Zealand.
Surgeon Andrew Vincent performed the surgery in August, utilizing a patella tendon graft for the Anterior Cruciate Ligament.
Nali's recovery shows positive results, with her scheduled arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka today. The medical team is satisfied with her progress, focusing on the next 3 to 4 months for reinforcing and conditioning her knee.
Charles Mucholo, First Secretary for Press and Public Relations at the Zambia High Commission to Australia and New Zealand, issued a statement detailing Nali's successful surgery and ongoing recovery. Photo Credit: The Mole.
