The Zambia Women's National Team was upbeat ahead of their second international friendly versus Morocco on September 26, 2023, at Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
The Copper Queens defeated the Atlas Lionesses 2-0 in the first of two friendlies, and their attention is now focused on Tuesday's match, which will begin at 20h00CAT.
Matches against Morocco are being utilised to prepare the team for the 2023 COSAFA Women's Championship, the 2024 Olympic qualifications in Paris, and the TotalEnergies CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024 qualifications, when they will face Angola in the second round.
Interestingly, the two teams will face off in Group B at the COSAFA Women’s Championship. Zambia’s other opponents are Mozambique and Comoros.
