The Zambian football family has been thrown into mourning following the passing of Tapson Kaseba (1992 – 2025), who died on Wednesday at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) around 17:00 hours during visiting time.
Kaseba had earlier been admitted to Maina Soko Medical Centre, where he spent a few days before being discharged, only to be re-admitted at UTH. It was there, surrounded by his parents, family members, and colleagues from ZNS Green Eagles Football Club, that he breathed his last.
He leaves behind a grieving family, including his wife and six children, who will forever carry his memory.

His return to Green Eagles in 2025 was a homecoming, where he closed his professional journey before retiring.
