Zambian international Prisca Chilufya is on the move once again!

The talented forward has officially joined Angel City FC from Orlando Pride, in a deal that sees Orlando receive $50,000 in 2025 intra-league transfer funds and an international roster spot.

Chilufya, who joined Orlando Pride earlier this year from Mexico’s FC Juárez, made an instant impact in her debut NWSL season. The dynamic attacker made 20 appearances, scored 2 goals, and provided 1 assist across all competitions.

Her first goal came back in May against North Carolina Courage — a dramatic stoppage-time header that secured a vital point for the Pride. She followed that up with another crucial equalizer in August versus Utah Royals, once again rescuing her side with a 1–1 draw. Chilufya also notched an assist in the Concacaf W Champions Cup, setting up Julie Doyle in a 5–0 win over Chorrillo FC.

Before joining the NWSL, Chilufya showcased her goal-scoring prowess at FC Juárez in Mexico, where she netted 14 goals in 48 appearances, and had a short but productive spell in Turkey with Fatih Karagümrük, scoring four times in seven matches.

On the international stage, the Copper Queens star continues to be a mainstay for the Zambian national team. She has represented Zambia since the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and featured at the Tokyo Olympic qualifiers, the 2024 Paris Olympics, and as an alternate at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

“Prisca has played an important role in the Club’s journey this season, both on and off the pitch. We are thankful for her contributions and wish her continued success in the future,” said Haley Carter, Orlando Pride Vice President and Sporting Director.

As Prisca begins her next chapter in Los Angeles with Angel City FC, Zambian fans will be eager to see her continue to shine and represent the nation with pride.
