Morocco coach Walid Regragui says his side is determined to win all their remaining fixtures and finish the group with maximum points.

Speaking during a pre-match press briefing at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Regragui revealed that while he will rest about 80% of the players who featured in the 5-0 demolition of Niger, the team’s winning mentality remains intact.

“We have come here already qualified. We know what we have to do. We are Morocco, and we have come here to win because we are Morocco,” he said.

The Atlas Lions coach acknowledged that Zambia will be a strong opponent, especially before their home fans, and expects a competitive showdown.

“I know Zambia wants to win to confirm their stature in Africa. I know it will be a good game tomorrow,” Regragui noted.

He added that fixture congestion and travel had forced him to rotate his squad, with key players like Achraf Hakimi being rested due to commitments in Europe.

“We have had a difficult time; we played a game on Friday and had a long flight. I will rest 80% of the players, but the ones coming in will be competitive,” he emphasized.

Zambia will host Morocco on Monday at 15h00 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Morocco, already qualified, tops Group E with 18 points. Tanzania sits second on 10 points, Zambia third with six, while Congo anchors the table with one point.
