FIFA Approves Copper Queen’s World Cup Participation

World football governing body, FIFA, has approved the participation of all the 23 Copper Queens players for the 9th edition of the FIFA World Cup to be co-hosted between New Zealand and Australia.
Skipper BARBRA BANDA is expected to lead the squad following an official statement released by the federation.

FIFA has also announced that 736 players from 32 countries will converge in the two host nations for the biggest event in women’s football.
The World Cup is set to begin on July 20 with hosts New-Zealand taking on Norway while Australia will take on Ireland on the opening day.
Zambia will begin their campaign on July 22 against Japan.
